On Thursday, November 19, 2015, Women Veterans ROCK! is hosting its fifth Twitter Chat of 2015! The Women Veterans community is invited to join us as we interview Senior Master Sergeant Tynisa Haskins, USAF.
Women Veterans ROCK!’s Twitter Chat Series is designed to provide America’s Military Women with information and access to working professionals from various industries and walks of life who will motivate and inspire them to pursue professional or personal growth.
As we continue to shine the spotlight on women supporting women, and explore skill sets that empower women in military families to pursue careers related to civic engagement and advocacy, we felt that we simply must highlight the benefits of public speaking!
During the 2015 Women Veterans Summer Leadership Retreat, SMSgt Haskins led The Gavel Club & Women Vets ROCK! Toastmasters Public Speaking Clinic.
An active member of the McGuire Achievers Toastmasters Club 3111, SMSgt Haskins has worked to hone her communication skills, further develop leadership capabilities and meet new people.
This November, SMSgt Haskins will share her personal experience and provide Twitter Chat participants with tips on how they can improve their communication skills for personal and professional use, and help participants identify ways to grow as young professionals by establishing improving their ability to communicate within the workplace and with senior leadership.
